This is a device for tapping into the MAF circuit without cutting into the wiring harness and exposing it to possible corrosion. The case provided a convienient location for mounting a vacuum switch for testing various systems during troubleshooting.

The body is a battery case from Radio Shack. One of the plugs is sold in any auto parts store and is for plugging into the back of a mid eighties Ford radio. The other came off the ground of the wrecking yard and had Delco molded into it. Both had to be cut down to 5 contacts wide. Super glue holds the plugs to the body, and electrical tape keeps it together and also connected to the MAF and wiring plug in the car during testing.
