Prop Covers
Have you ever dropped your brand new prop?
We did,,, and we put an ugly dent in it.
That got us thinking it needed protection when it wasn't flying, and that led us to develop the inexpensive and effective prop covers offered here.
- They don't have to keep rain off, or even protect the hub area. Only the parts that go fast through the air need protecting, and that's what these do good.
- The material is thick foam with tough plastic film bonded to each side. Cloth tape serves to cover the raw edge and give strength under the stitches where they need it.
- The cuff sewn into the opening tends to cling to the blade and keep the cover on during normal handeling. For a trip down the freeway in the back of a pickup, loops are provided for tying the covers together so the wind can't blow them off.
Standard model length is 17" and the breadth is designed to accomodate blades with a circumference of 10-1/2" or less. Just wrap a tape measure tightly around the widest part of your blade to determine the blade size. For a nominal extra charge, any size can be custom made for you.
Price for a pair of standard covers with shipping paid by us to anywhere in the continental USA is $44.95 plus sales tax for CA orders.
