Sir Arion and Dame Juliana have been involved in history as a hobby for many years. They were founding members and members of the council of a German Renaissance reenactment and Renaissance faire group in the mid-80s, setting up the organizational documents for that group. They have been active in Old West reenactment and were early members of the Single Action Shooting Society. The still dabble in Elizabethan, Old West, Victorian, Early California, Colonial, and Fur Trade Re-enactment as time permits. Sir Arion and Dame Juliana have held many offices within the SCA and the Adrian Empire and continue to do so. They hold an SCA fighting practice at their home in Vista several times a month. They have a website in bad need of updating up: Gerry and Julie's Landsknecht and German Costume Site
