The Company of St. Martin de Tours is a tournament company and war band. The company has a feudal structure and is organized and led by Sir Arion Hirsch von Schutzhundheim and Dame Juliana Hirsch von Schutzhundheim who are the noble patrons of this company.

The company spans both the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and the Adrian Empire and is based in Southern California. Most of our members located in North San Diego County area, which is the Canton of Summergate of the Barony of Calafia, Caid in the SCA, and is the Archduchy of Brandenburg in the Adrian Empire, but we also have members in the Los Angeles/Orange County areas. The war band is a one of the units of the Iron Brigade of Caid.

Our primary goals are described in our , which include fighting together as a trained unit upon the field of war, to host and sponsor period tournaments, striving to follow the Chivalric Virtues, encouraging authenticity in personal kit, activities, and encampment, and setting aside a portion of our camp as a period encampment. Our goal is to strive toward the Ideals of Chivalry, seeking out great Deeds to increase both personal and the Company's renown. Our group is family-oriented and includes a number of children and young adults.

Our first period tournament was held at the SCA Great Western War 2003, where Lord David sponsored an Elizabethan period "Playing at the Prize" tournament. Lord David set up a list field as a part of our encampment. Our future goal is to host other tournaments, both fun and historic formats, such as Pas d'arms and William the Marshal melee formats, as well as just open the field up while members "meet all comers".

Besides fighting, the Company of St. Martin's evening activities might include feasting, gaming, drinking, storytelling, singing, and period music. Many of our members excel in the Arts, such as music, pyrography, illumination, woodworking, costuming and armoring.

Unlike some Companies, we do not focus on a single time period or geographic location, but encourage our members to pursue excellence within their own persona within the "Age of Chivalry".

While some members of the Company have been fighting and camping together for several years, the Company was officially sworn in on March 3rd of 2003.
