Pastimes of St. Martin de Tours
The Company of St. Martin's evening activities often include feasting, gaming,
drinking, storytelling, singing, and period music, as well as more fighting.
Many of our members excel in the Arts, such as music, pyrography, illumination,
woodworking, costuming and armoring.
St. Martin's Arts at Calafia Winter Arts 2003
The company enjoys active games like rounders, bowls and stoolball, as well as
cards an dice. Card games we play include Landsknecht, Primero,
Post and Pair, Vomiting Monk, and Thirty and One. Dice games we play include
Hazard, Five and Nine, and Gluckhaus. We love to teach those interested in
learning new games!
Our young ones also play period games, as well as the ever present boffers.
