Effective therapy also requires the full range of tools and strategies provided by a wide variety of therapeutic schools in order to design a program to fit your particular and individual needs.

I have had extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Theory, Family Systems, Brief-Solution Focused Therapy, Imago/Relationship Therapy, Mindfulness, Depth Psychology, Dream-Work, and Sandplay.

I also incorporate techniques borrowed from Gestalt Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Existential Therapy, Schema Therapy, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Problem-Solving.

I utilize a variety of contemporary approaches that attend to traumatic experience, traumatic memories, critical incidents, and grief-work, and I remain abreast of the growing and innovative research into these fields.

In the past I have worked in tandem with therapists who specialize in EMDR, a variety of Body-Work/Somatic approaches, as well as with other healers who focus upon wholistic approaches to Body/Mind/Spirit.

Through collaborative exploration, together, we develop a unique treatment plan that focuses upon the issues hindering your empowerment, fulfillment, and positive transformation. A plan that will facilitate the changes you want to see in the time framework you have in mind.

For children 6 years old and up I offer expressive arts therapy, puppets, therapeutic games, projective play, and Sandplay. The pictures in the left hand corner of my website are examples of some of the toys I use for Sandplay. Please check into my Sandplay page (link) in order to get a better idea about how this wonderful tool works.

Whether the problem you're struggling with is a relationship, a career, a medical issue, bereavement, spirituality, or creativity, it is significantly affecting your life and causing you sadness and stress; and this is why you are considering whether or not to seek help.

It takes courage and strength to reach out to another human being for help - which is already a sign of healing.
