"Kurt Roll's art has the unique ability to transport anybody viewing it back to the times of ancient cultures. His steel sculptures and silver jewelry, inspired by images found etched in the rocky cliffs and caves of Utah and Arizona, harken back to a time before written language or recorded history." --Tierra Times (San Diego), April 3, 1997.

Articles and photographs of Kurt's works have appeared in the San Diego Daily Transcript and in the Home section of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Kurt's works were featured at the 10th annual Santa Fe Market held in March 1997 at the Bazaar del Mundo in Old Town, San Diego.

One of Kurt's original sculptures, "The Ancient Long Boarder," was the trophy for the 1996 Iron Man of the Year Award sponsored by the Professional Longboard Association (PLA) which was awarded to Dale Dobson.

Kurt's "Cougar" design, available as a pin and medallion, was custom made for the Petrified Forest National Park Gift Shops in Arizona. This petroglyph is a famous part of the forest.

Kurt's "Hawaiian Surfer" sculpture was presented to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) by Olympic surfing supporters in their bid to make surfing a sport in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

"Slash," presently a flamenco guitarist and formerly of the rock band "Guns and Roses," has two of Kurt's sculptures from the beautiful Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona.

Kurt's Giant Gecko Dining Room Table seats 8-10 and is the envy of all his friends and neighbors.
